Sunitix is a kinase inhibitor used for treating various conditions. It is effective for gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) in patients whose disease has either progressed or who cannot tolerate imatinib mesylate. Additionally, Sunitix is used for advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC). It is also prescribed for patients with progressive pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) that are advanced, locally unresectable, or have spread to other parts of the body.
