Indications of Azarest (Azacitidine cost)
Maintaining Remission
After achieving their first complete remission (CR) or partial remission with some blood count issues (CRi) following initial intensive chemotherapy, Azarest 300 MG (Azacitidine cost) is administered to help prevent the cancer from recurring. This maintenance therapy plays a crucial role in extending the period of remission and reducing the likelihood of relapse.
For Those Who Can’t Handle Intensive Therapy
Some patients can’t undergo aggressive treatments due to their age, other health issues, or overall condition. For these patients, Azarest provides an effective alternative to more intensive therapies.
Azacitidine Mechanism of Action
Azarest 300 MG (Azacitidine) is used for the treatment of specific types of cancer. It is also known as Azacitidine. Azarest works by entering cancer cells and changing how their DNA and RNA function. It stops certain enzymes from adding tags to DNA and RNA, which can activate genes that control cancer growth and cell behavior. Azarest helps to stop certain enzymes from developing DNA, RNA. It also helps to block cancer cells to make protein. Studies have shown thatAzarest 300 MG Azacitidine induces cell death and tumor reduction in AML. In tests, it has been shown to shrink tumors and improve survival in animals with leukemia.
Absorption
When taken orally, about 11% of Azacitidine is absorbed into the bloodstream compared to the subcutaneous route. It reaches peak blood levels approximately one hour after ingestion.
